​​The site is a 110,000 sq ft former factory building on 3.7 acres. Our plan is to redevelop its old office blocks and intermediate industrial spaces into 60 affordable artist studios with access to communal arts facilities. The 45,000 sq ft of 25-38 foot high stud industrial bays will become a uniquely flexible events space for art fairs, special exhibitions and performing arts with a “Main Street’ for commercial activities such as a café, restaurant and galleries. This space will open onto the Joe Louis Greenway, welcoming residents, visitors, avid art-seekers, and recreational Greenway-users alike to gather, explore, and find spaces for relaxation and inspiration.
